Kokkino Chorio (near Plaka)
Kokkino Chorio is about 200 m about sea level and has some of the most stunning views to the sea and mountains. Zorba the Greek was filmed here in the late 1960s and nearly all the village participated - and if you care to ask, they will gladly inform you about thier participation. One kafenion even remains as a homage to Anthony Quinn and Alexis Zorbas. The village is home to a number of traditional craftsmen as well as the only glass blower on the island. There is a fine new taverna situated in the old village school and a small secluded bay suitable for private swimming is close by. Kokkino Chorio is 4 km drive from Plaka and Almyrida a further 2 km. The plot is located a short distance from the village and commands superb views of Souda Bay, the open sea and the White Mountains. The houses on this plot will be positioned to encompass all the views.

Litsarda (near Vamos)
Litsarda is a small traditional village with a well known pizzeria. The plot is also close to Vamos, where all amenities and services are available. The closest beaches are in Georgioupolis and Almyrida, both a 10 minute journey away. The plot enjoys views of the White Mountains and much of Souda Bay with the open sea beyond. The immediate area surrounding the plot consists of olive groves.

Douliana (near Gavalochori & Vamos)
This plot located near Douliana commands a terrific hilltop position that commands panoramic 360 degree views of the White Mountains, the country side below towards Vamos and Gavalochori, stretching across the Apokoronou region towards Draponos and across Souda Bay towards Akrotori. The villages of Vamos, Gavalochori and Kalivyes with their amenities are all within 4 minutes drive. A good selection of sheltered sandy beaches are accessible within 5 minutes drive.
